Sensitive Personal Information

GoGloby’s standard application form does not ask candidates to provide sensitive information such as medical information, genetic or biometric data, religious or philosophical beliefs, political opinions, trade-union membership, sexual orientation, government identification numbers, financial account details, or similar sensitive information.

Please do not include sensitive personal information in your résumé or application unless GoGloby specifically requests it for a lawful purpose.

If sensitive information is processed because it is required by law or necessary for a legitimate recruiting or employment-related purpose, we will process it only where permitted by applicable law and with appropriate safeguards.

Website and Technical Information

When you use our website or online forms, we or our service providers may automatically process technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, operating system, referring pages, timestamps, pages viewed, and interactions with our website.

We may also use cookies and similar technologies as described in Section 10.

Information From Other Sources

In some circumstances, we may receive candidate information from recruiters, employee referrals, professional networking platforms, recruiting partners, prospective clients, or publicly available professional sources.

Where required by applicable law, we will provide appropriate information about our processing when we first contact you or within the period required by law.

3. How We Use Candidate Information

We may process candidate personal information to receive and manage applications; communicate with candidates; determine whether a candidate’s experience, skills, language abilities, compensation expectations, availability, and other qualifications match an opportunity; conduct interviews and assessments; schedule recruiting activities; maintain records of the recruiting process; verify information where appropriate; protect GoGloby’s systems and recruiting processes against fraud, misuse, or security incidents; comply with legal and regulatory requirements; establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and improve our recruiting operations.

Where relevant to GoGloby’s staffing, consulting, or talent-placement activities, we may also evaluate whether your professional profile is suitable for an opportunity with a GoGloby client.

If we would like to retain your information for opportunities that arise after your current application has concluded, we will do so as described under “Future Opportunities and Talent Pool” below.

We will not use candidate personal information for unrelated advertising purposes.

4. Future Opportunities and Talent Pool

If you choose to participate in our talent pool, GoGloby may retain your candidate profile and contact you about future roles or professional opportunities that may reasonably match your background.

For candidates in jurisdictions where consent is required, participation in the talent pool is voluntary and based on your consent.

Declining to join the talent pool will not negatively affect consideration of your current application.

You may withdraw your consent or ask us to remove you from the talent pool at any time by contacting us at the privacy email listed above.

Unless a different period is disclosed to you, talent-pool information will be retained for up to 24 months after your consent or your last meaningful interaction with GoGloby, after which we will delete the information, anonymize it, or ask you whether you wish to remain in the talent pool.

5. Legal Bases for Processing

The legal basis on which GoGloby processes your personal information depends on your location and the particular processing activity.

For candidates in the EEA, processing may be necessary to take steps at your request before entering into an employment, contractor, or other professional relationship; necessary for GoGloby’s legitimate interests in operating an appropriate and effective recruiting process, matching candidates to roles, maintaining recruiting records, protecting our systems, and establishing or defending legal claims; necessary to comply with legal obligations; or based on your consent where consent is the appropriate basis, including certain future-opportunity activities.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider whether our interests are proportionate and whether your rights and interests require additional safeguards.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred lawfully before withdrawal.

For candidates in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Chile, and other Latin American jurisdictions, we process personal information under the legal grounds permitted by applicable local law, which may include consent or authorization, steps related to a potential contractual relationship, legitimate interests where recognized, compliance with legal obligations, or the establishment and defense of legal rights.

For U.S. candidates, we process applicant information for recruiting, employment, contractor-placement, security, legal-compliance, and related business purposes as permitted by applicable federal and state law.

6. How We Share Candidate Information

Access to candidate information is limited to persons and organizations that reasonably need the information for the purposes described in this Notice.

These may include GoGloby recruiters, hiring managers, interviewers, administrators, and authorized personnel; GoGloby affiliates and related entities involved in recruiting; technology providers that support application forms, cloud hosting, recruiting systems, email, communications, scheduling, video conferencing, assessments, analytics, security, or document storage; legal, accounting, compliance, insurance, and other professional advisers; and governmental, regulatory, judicial, or law-enforcement authorities when disclosure is required or permitted by law.

GoGloby currently uses Tally to collect candidate applications submitted through certain online application forms.

Where we are recruiting or evaluating candidates for an opportunity involving a GoGloby client, we may disclose relevant professional information to that client for evaluation. We will limit such disclosures to information reasonably necessary for the opportunity and will obtain additional authorization where required by applicable law.

A client that receives candidate information for its own recruitment or engagement decisions may become an independent controller of that information and may provide its own privacy notice.

We may also disclose information in connection with a merger, acquisition, investment, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal protections.

We do not sell candidate application information for monetary consideration.

7. International Transfers

GoGloby operates internationally. As a result, candidate information may be accessed, processed, or transferred between the United States, Latin America, Europe, and other locations where GoGloby, its clients, or service providers operate.

When applicable data protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, GoGloby will use an appropriate legal mechanism.

For EEA personal data, such mechanisms may include an adequacy decision, approved Standard Contractual Clauses, or another mechanism permitted under applicable European data protection law.

For personal data subject to Brazil’s Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados Pessoais (“LGPD”), GoGloby will use mechanisms permitted by the LGPD and applicable rules of Brazil’s Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados (“ANPD”), as appropriate.

For other jurisdictions, we will use contractual, consent-based, adequacy, or other transfer mechanisms required by applicable local law.

You may contact us for additional information concerning safeguards applicable to transfers of your personal information.

8. Data Retention

GoGloby retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and as required or permitted by applicable law.

For an active application, we retain information while the recruiting or selection process remains open.

If you are not selected, we generally retain ordinary recruitment records for up to 12 months following the conclusion of the application process, unless applicable law requires or justifies a different period, including for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

If you voluntarily participate in our future-opportunities talent pool, we may retain your candidate information for up to 24 months from your consent or last meaningful interaction with us.

If you become an employee or contractor, relevant information may become part of your personnel or contractor record and will be handled under the applicable workforce privacy and retention rules.

Information that must be retained to comply with law, respond to a dispute, investigate misconduct, protect legal rights, or satisfy recordkeeping requirements may be retained for the applicable limitation or statutory period.

Information held in service-provider backup, recovery, or deletion systems may remain for a limited additional period before permanent deletion.

When retention is no longer justified, we will delete, securely dispose of, or anonymize the information.

9. Security

GoGloby uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, destruction, or misuse.

Access to candidate information is intended to be limited according to business need and appropriate access controls.

Our service providers are expected to provide appropriate security and confidentiality protections for personal information processed on our behalf.

No electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security, but we maintain safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and relevant risks.

10. Cookies, Analytics, and Website Information

GoGloby may use cookies, analytics technologies, and similar tools to operate and understand the use of its websites.

These technologies may process information including IP address, browser and device information, referring pages, viewed pages, timestamps, and website interactions.

We may use analytics providers such as Google Analytics.

Where applicable law requires consent before non-essential analytics or similar technologies are used, we will request that consent through an appropriate consent mechanism.

You may also be able to control cookies through your browser or available cookie-preference tools.

Candidate application information contained in a résumé or application form is not used by GoGloby for behavioral advertising.

11. Automated Decision-Making and Artificial Intelligence

GoGloby may use technology to assist with administrative recruiting tasks, candidate organization, matching, scheduling, or assessment.

GoGloby does not make final hiring, engagement, or placement decisions based solely on automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects on a candidate unless such processing is permitted by applicable law and appropriate notice and safeguards are provided.

Where applicable law gives you rights concerning automated decision-making, you may request additional information or human review by contacting us.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you the right to request information about the personal information we process about you; obtain access to or a copy of your information; correct inaccurate or incomplete information; request deletion or cancellation; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; request portability where applicable; obtain information about recipients or transfers; request review of certain automated decisions; or submit a complaint to an applicable privacy or data protection authority.

These rights are not absolute and may be subject to legal exceptions. For example, we may retain information when required by law or where reasonably necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

To exercise a privacy right, contact [email protected] and identify the right you wish to exercise.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will use information provided for verification only for that purpose and related legal compliance.

We will not discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising a privacy right.
