Our client is a lean, product-led technology company operating a two-sided workforce marketplace for commercial installation services. The platform connects businesses with vetted professionals, managing everything from project posting and scheduling to payments and operational workflows. They are a high-velocity, AI-native startup expanding across U.S. markets

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role working closely with the CTO. You will take full-stack product work from loosely defined business needs through implementation, review, deployment, and production support. The pace is fast, requirements change frequently, and practical delivery matters more than polishing every edge before release.

• 5+ years in software development.
• Strong professional production experience building full-stack web applications with Ruby on Rails.
• Production experience with React and/or Next.js (working knowledge of Node.js is strongly preferred).
• Real-world AI application: Active, positive use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor) and the ability to inspect, debug, and reason about AI-generated code.
• Startup mindset: Adaptable, self-directed, comfortable with ambiguity, and pragmatic (prioritizing speed and business impact).
• Working Hours: Fully remote within the Americas, requiring at least 4–5 hours of daily overlap with EST–PST time zones.
• Excellent spoken and written English for highly asynchronous remote collaboration.

• End-to-End Ownership: Clarify problems, shape pragmatic solutions, and implement across the backend and frontend.
• Full-Stack Development: Build and evolve services using Ruby on Rails, along with modern web experiences using Next.js, React, and Node.js.
• AI-Native Workflow: Actively use AI coding tools (like Cursor) and agentic workflows daily, while independently understanding, validating, and correcting all generated code.
• Modernize Operations: Help migrate or replace automation-heavy operational processes (like "zap"-style automations) with durable, first-class product functionality.
• Production Support: Participate in an AI-centric deployment model and an evolving pager-duty rotation.
